About Vinod Gupta (Vinod Gupta Direct Tax Book):

CA Vinod Gupta is currently teaching CA Final students in Northern India. He has vast experience of teaching Direct tax and is a faculty at New Delhi for the last 30 years. He is one of the most known faculty for Direct Tax in India.

He has written around 100 articles on taxation in various journals & newspapers including, Economic Times, Taxman, Chartered Accountant, Current Tax Reporter, and Financial Express.

CA Vinod Gupta has been awarded various awards including The Rashtriya Gaurav Award. VG has presented papers on Taxation in various seminars of the Institute and also in the seminar organized by the ITAT Bar Association.

He has been the Secretary to the FLCOI Chartered Accountants of India for 8 years in the field of Direct Taxes. Working as the Tax Consultant to leading Multinational Companies, Indian Companies, and Nationalized Banks.

He worked as the Senior Technical Officer in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Assisted the Expert Advisory Committee in express opinions on problems relating to the tax of members and industry.

He Rendered services for the Taxation Committee and Research Committee of the Institute. He also drafted the Guidance Note on Tax Audit under Section 44AB of the Income-tax Act, the 80HHC of the Income-tax Act, and the Guidance Note on Sections 80HHB and other Guidance Notes as well.
